Disappointment .... a Thing of the Past
Right Click Productions have experience shooting and editing multiple camera productions of dance shows involving cuts to provide the best coverage of the show while ensuring that everyone gets their moment on camera. Our research has shown us that the two most common complaints with other DVD's / VHS tapes of dance shows (and any other show with, especially with kids in), are:-
- "My Kid was hardly in it, it just seemed to be coverage of all the other kids!"
- "After we had watched the DVD once, we only really wanted the bits with our kid in. It's a shame we have to scan through the whole thing just to find the bits he / she is in. It would be nice to have a video of just the bits our kid is in."
Right Click Productions have solutions to both of these issues.
- We make use of multiple cameras in order to ensure that nobody is missed out and that even if someone gets in the way of somebody's "moment in the spotlight", we should have caught it with at least one or two cameras other than the main one. (Coverage with just one camera cannot achieve this and we would always advise the use of at least two cameras).
- We make maximum use of one of the best features of the DVD format. This enables us to produce DVD's that can be taylored to each individual, allowing them to watch the entire production or just the parts featuring a particular performer. This is a feature none of our customers have encountered before and has proven extremely popular.
We bring our experience in other fields such as interactivity, advanced video manipulation and multimedia production, to the production of your event DVD. This means we have so much more to offer than companies you may have used in the past who simply offer a single camera video of the event on DVD.
More Extras
In addition to the "extras" we offer as standard, why not also consider a few of the following:-
- Publicise the event via your Web site or CD / DVD
- DVD Extras - e.g. Behind the scenes, Rehearsals, Interviews with the performers, etc.
A Particular favourite of ours is to video the rehearsals using a Glidecam or Steadicam operated camera. This allows us to capture shots of the performers that would be a distraction on the night of the show. However, these shots can be some of the best on the DVD as our Glidecam operator can be on stage with the performers and "dance" the camera around them. These clips can be added to the DVD as "extras" i.e. separate movies of the rehearsals, or with a clever bit of editing, they can even be incorporated into the main video of the show as special effects. These Glidecam shots bring "Hollywood" style shots to your production.

The Law and Your DVD Production
